Preparation Course for Nursing Recognition Tests (part-time)
Objective
This funded course comprehensively prepares foreign nursing professionals for the required recognition tests (B2 Language Test, Nursing Knowledge Test) as well as for everyday working life in Germany.
Course contents
The course introduces the examination framework conditions and the handling of exam questions. Additionally, it includes practical and theoretical exam training, including hands-on guidance in the Skills Lab. The course begins with a vocational language unit “German for nursing”. Here, professional situations in the care context are specifically trained in specialized language. In the second part of the course, participants prepare for the nursing knowledge test. This part is structured into various modules that comprehensively address complex nursing situations relevant to the nursing knowledge test. The situations are embedded in different settings, such as inpatient acute and long-term care, geriatric care, psychiatric and neurological care, pediatrics, and outpatient care. Critical life situations and the final phase of life are also covered. Legal foundations and nursing concepts complete the preparatory course.
