Crash Course Preparation Nursing Knowledge Test
Objective
This course prepares foreign nurses comprehensively for the Professional Knowledge Test to obtain the German license to practice as well as for the nursing working life.
Course contents
After introduction of the test conditions and the handling of the test questions comprehensive knowledge of the main test subjects health education, communication and psychology as well as nursing science in the classroom instruction will be imparted. In addition, processes and procedures of the nursing working life in Germany will be explained.
E-learning
The e-learning serves to consolidate the newly acquired nursing knowledge in the classroom instruction through different individual online exercises.
The course consists of 12 online learning modules, which can be independently retrieved and solved. The nursing content is based on the test-relevant topics and common questions of the Knowledge Test.
Teachers
Teachers are qualified nurses and / or communication trainer with appropriate degree and pedagogical qualification.
Suitable persons are used as simulation patients. For example, Illnesses whose symptoms or patient behavior can be presented in a realistic manner within the framework of the courses.
Participation requirements
- Final certificate as a nursing specialist (exam / diploma)
- Recognized language certificate B2 (FIA, Telc, Goethe or ÖSD – confirmation of participation is not sufficient)
If you do not have a recognised language certificate, you can participate in a free placement test. The test is held online.
Examination
After completing the course, the Knowledge Test should be taken at the responsible examination board.
Certificate of attendance
After completing the course (with attendance at least 80%), the participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
Funding
The "Crash Course Preparation Nursing Knowledge Test" is AZAV certified and can be funded with an educational voucher from the Employment Agency and Jobcenters as well as through various scholarships if you reside in Germany.
If this funding is rejected, subordinate funding may be possible through the relevant IQ network.

Evaluation
For quality assurance, the course will be evaluated by the participants and the teachers.
