Guest in Tunisia: FIA and TADS – A Future in Germany for International Dentists

Das Team der FIA und TADS auf einer Bühne

CIEMD13, Sousse 2026: FIA and TADS representatives at the 13th International Congress of the Tunisian Association of Dental Students in El Kantaoui, Sousse.

Panel, Network, and Perspective: FIA Presents Career Pathways in Germany

From February 13 to 15, 2026, the Freiburg International Academy was represented at the 13th International Congress of the Tunisian Association of Dental Students (CIEMD13) at the Hôtel Sentido Bellevue Park in Sousse. As a sponsor and partner, FIA made a significant contribution to the congress, one of the most important dental student events in North Africa, which brought together numerous participants: from first-semester students to dentists in clinical training.

FIA as Panel Partner: Career Pathways to Germany in Focus

The highlight of FIA's participation at CIEMD13 was a dedicated panel on February 15, 2026, where three FIA representatives provided information under the title "Start your journey with FIA" about the concrete opportunities awaiting international dentists practicing in Germany. The focus was on the requirements of the German healthcare system, questions about the recognition of foreign qualifications, and FIA's qualification programs that provide structured support along this path.

The event thus offered not only a professional framework, but also direct exchange between FIA experts and an audience seriously considering a future in Germany.

Info Session in Monastir

The visit to Tunisia did not end with the congress: Immediately following CIEMD13, FIA representatives seized the opportunity to be present at the Faculty of Dentistry in Monastir as well – this time with a broader audience in mind. The info session on February 17, 2026, organized jointly with TADS and Associamed Monastir, was aimed at professionals from medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy. The goal was to provide interested individuals with direct access to concrete information about career and continuing education opportunities in Germany – from the recognition of foreign qualifications to the specific offerings of FIA Academy – while leaving ample room for individual questions.

Engagement with Perspective

The collaboration with TADS – a member of the International Association of Dental Students (IADS), which represents over 200,000 students from 60 countries and is supported by the World Dental Federation (FDI) – reflects our commitment as an internationally oriented educational institution. We see such initiatives as an important contribution to providing qualified healthcare professionals with reliable guidance early on, long before concrete steps toward Germany begin.

We are pleased with the successful presence in Tunisia and the numerous constructive conversations that took place during both events. They once again demonstrated how great the interest of international healthcare professionals is in career prospects in Germany and how important it is to be present internationally as a reliable contact.

Stay tuned – further events of this kind are already being planned!
