FIA receives award as TOP IT sponsor “Digital Education” 2024
We are thrilled to announce that FIA has been awarded for its commitment to digital education!
Last year, we donated fully functional hardware to schools. For this commitment, we have now been honored by the non-profit organization Das macht Schule as “TOP Sponsor Digital Education & Sustainability 2024”. An award that makes us proud!
Why this award matters
Our donation has helped to improve equipment in schools and supported pupils in learning important digital skills – skills that are crucial for their future. At the same time, by reusing the hardware, we extend its lifespan and avoid unnecessary electronic waste. In doing so, we support 8 of the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations.
For us, corporate responsibility does not end with disposal. It starts with the question: How can we make a difference with existing resources?
Together for the future
Das macht Schule mediates between companies with decommissioned IT and schools that urgently need technology. This creates a win-win situation: companies act sustainably – and schools receive support where it is most needed.
